Teaching the World to Paint

While watching TV did you ever switch channels and see a man painting a beautiful landscape or seascape, and make it look so easy you would think to yourself, “There must be a trick to it”?  Well, that wet-on-wet oil painting technique is exactly what Jack Kolber can teach to YOU! Jack watched Bill Alexander and Bob Ross on PBS and was inspired to teach and demonstrate as a career.

Jack, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, who now resides in Burlington Township, NJ, became certified in 1990 and has been teaching children and adults this easy and fun method of oil painting. Jack also loves to demonstrate at schools, retirement facilities, and community centers.  The audiences are amazed at what he can paint in such a short period of time.

Jack has been featured on several local TV stations such as:

  1. KYW 3  --  “Can You Believe It” with Paul Moriarty

  2. WCAU 10 --  “Seniors Segment” with Gene Crane

  3. FOX 29  --  “Good Day Philadelphia” with Steve Keeley

  4. PBS Station WLVT  --  Painted LIVE on the air during Pledge Break

Many of Jack’s students have gone on to enter their works in local art shows and contests and all are rewarded with some level of achievement. In fact, in 1998 and 1999, FIVE of his students won ribbons for their entries in the New Jersey State Fair for oil painting.
