I went to my first painting class ever and left with a finished painting in just over an hour. I was amazed at how well it turned out and so is everyone who has seen it so far! What looked so difficult was really easy with an instructor like Jack. He is knowledgable, encouraging, patient and has a great sense of humor (same goes for Fran, his wife, who was also a big help). I would encourge anyone who ever wanted to try their artisitic talents (I didn't even know I had any!) to call Jack and try it out. It will definitely be worth your while! He's a great instructor and you will enjoy the class and the finished product. I'm sorry I waited so long to get started! Thanks Jack and Fran!

This is for anyone looking to take private lessons of the Bob Ross method. I have taken 5 private lessons and in less than 2 hours went home w/ a finished beautiful painting. Jack is a very competent instructor lets you paint and learn. Did 2 lessons this week and after some surgery will be going back to do more. His price is more than reasonable and well worth the money. Easily accessable in Burlington N.J.

Jack! I didn't know you were a real artist! And a teacher!
As you can see, I finally found some time to visit your web page
and may I just say "WOW".
Your work, in addition to being extremely creative and
inspirational, is just fabulous. I hope to be able
to paint like that one day. Too bad you don't live near me,
I'm sure I could learn a lot from you. I especially like
the "mushrooms", so mysterious, so fantastic, this painting
makes me want to walk down that path and see where it might
lead. Good to know I can do more than just landscapes if I
set my mind to it. Great work, Jack! Have you cut off your
ear, yet?? (Heh, heh, I think your son(?)is quite funny,
I LOL at that one)

hi there. i'm interested in becoming an instructor for Alexander Art. i wasn't sure at first, because i was afraid that i would be limited to painting only what Bill painted (as wonderful as they were!) but after looking at your paintings it's clear that you have your own style, while still painting like Bill. Your paintings are wonderful. i started out watching Bill, Bob Ross, Lowell Spears, and Lynn Pittard. i am taking classes now with Walt Burger ( Bob Ross Style); if you like Bob Ross, you would love Walt. he even looks like Bob! not only does he do a great wet-on-wet painting, he is a great teacher. his classes are always full, and there's barely enough elbow room to paint, but we keep coming! if we weren't so far apart i would love to take a class from you. anyway, thanks for showing your paintings on the website. now i know i can keep my style, and still ( hopefully ) represent Alexander Art.

Jack: I wanted you to know that I have heard nothing but amazed responses to the results received from the kids at Stephanie's party. The kids were even funny; of course I wasn't suppose to be listening, but they were yacking on the ride home about how well they did and they had a great time. In fact, we made it home -- all 7 pictures without one smudge! The parents were amazed too. Thanks for taking the time and making this a very unique and successful birthday party. The picture is in the mail.

Hi Jack, The site looks great!! Well my house if full of my son's paintings he did with Jack. Everyone who comes over can't believe my son did those when he was 8-10 yrs old, that's how good they look. I even brought a scout troup to Jack's one day and about fifteen people produced one group painting (you would never be able to tell, even a three year old put in a stoke or two).
